Started reading books seriously and completed "Ignited Mind" by A P J Abdul Kalam.  It was very interesting book and i was little bit inspired.  I started reading another book entitled "Wings of Fire", yet to complete.

First Online Exam Experience

I have written an online exam of Punjab National Bank on 14^th Oct. 2012 at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Uttarahalli, Bangalore .  Exam was started little late due to give online instructions to the candidates. 

I was too scary about this exam due to the first time writing online exam in my life.  When I login to the system I was become little relax and started instruction on the computer screen. 

Once we login the system it will give the instructions to the candidate on the screen.  Once the exam time start the pop-up menu will display on the screen has “start writing exam”.  One question will be display on the screen at a time, we can make answer, if we know, otherwise we can attend that question later clicking review later button. If we clicked this option maroon color will display on that particular question number.  If we marked right answer we can save immediately and green button will be display on that particular question number. So candidate will come to know how many questions he /she have answered and he/she can attend questions, if he gets time.

Once the exam duration over, the system will automatically give message as “Exam duration is over and submit the answer”.  At a time all the candidates can stop writing exams.

If people conduct exams through online we can save the paper.  One drawback is candidate can’t get OMR sheet and she/he can’t verify he answers with the key answer.  If they provide OMR sheet to the candidate it will help to candidates to evaluate themselves. 

Dr. Shreyasi Pariikh Visit to NID Bengaluru

Dr. Shreyasi Parikh Head of the Resource Center of NID visited on 30^th Aug. 2012; she has visited to our campus to review for my colleagues on 31^st Aug. 2012.  We spent two days with her and for the first time we interacted with the student to improve KMC services and to know problems towards student’s side.  She is very cooperative and friendly, and I learned so many things from her.  She has motivated us to attract users towards library.

She has assigned some of the works to me and those are very challenging jobs for me.  I hope this is right time to learn Joomla and VTLS software in a proper manner.  I need to explore all the functions of VTLS software and need to train my colleagues as well in a proper way.  I hope they will cooperative with me.

Dr. Shreyasi Parikh Visit

Today Dr. Shreyasi Parikh, NID KMC Head, is visiting our campus for the first time.  And I am meeting her for the first.  I expecting some changes in nature of work and duties.   

Second course work class

I have attended the course work class at the department on 11th Feb. 2012.  The Chairman Dr. Mallinath Kumar and Dr. Khaiser Nikam taken class.  They were insist to confirm  the date for seminar presentation to all the students and I have chosen 14th April 2012 and i have chosen the topic "Research technique: questionnaire and interview" as my seminar topic.  I have to work hard to prepare seminar and presentation.

I have to meet my guide to finalize the term paper topic. So that i can prepare term paper as well.  

I am doing too many works at a time.

First Introduction Class at MyDLIS

I have attended Ph.D course first class at MyDLIS.  Dr.Khaiser Nikam has taken  first class instead of Chairperson.  She had delivered a very good lecture about the course work.

She had give some of the very good tips to research students.
